Residents of Jimpensi (Kpare), a community in the Daffiama Bussie Isaa District of the Upper West Region have expressed dissatisfaction with the deplorable state of one of the major roads within the area. The Kojokperie-Jimpensi stretch has not received any facelift in the past few years.
The road, a major artery connecting several communities to various districts such as Wa East, Sissala West and Sissala East, has been in terrible condition.
The stretch is riddled with potholes, deep cracks, and uneven surfaces making it unmotorable for commuters.
The poor state of the road also hinders the transportation of agricultural produce.
Speaking to UpperWestNews, a resident said “We implore your Media house to shed light on this critical issue, bringing attention to the urgent need for maintenance and repair. We the residents of Jimpensi, plead for support in advocating for the necessary resources to fix this vital road”.
