The family of the late former Member of Parliament for Daffiama Bussie Issa Honourable Mathias Asoma Puozaa has announced his funeral arrangements scheduled for July 2024.
According to information available to UpperWestNews.com, the funeral of the late legislator would be help in both the national capital Accra and Daffiama-Tuori in the Upper West Region.
According to an obituary attributed to the Puozaa and Dakpaa families and sighted by Upperwestnews.com, a pre-burial mass will be held on “Thursday 11th July 2024, 7:00am. St John the evangelist, Catholic Church Adenta commandos, Accra”
It further revealed that traditional mourning will be held for the late Hon. Puozaa on the July 12, 2024 at Daffiama-Tuori in the Upper West Region.
He will be buried on Saturday July 12, 2024 at same place.
Honourable Mathias Puozaa died on May 24, 2024 at the 37 Military Hospital.
Before his demise, he served as member of parliament for the then Nadowli East Constituency now Daffiama Bussie Issa constituency.
He was preceded by Emmanuel Zumakpe and succeeded by Dr Sabastian sandare.
Puozaa was born on 10 January 1948. He hailed from Daffiama-Tuori in the Upper West Region. He attended the University of Edinburgh in Scotland where he obtained a Master of Science in Community Education.
