The Upper West Regional leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has extended its heartfelt congratulations to Joyce Bawah Mogtari and Shamima Muslim for their distinguished appointments in the new government.

Joyce Bawah Mogtari has been appointed Presidential Adviser and Special Aide to the President, while Shamima Muslim takes up the role of Deputy Presidential Spokesperson. Both appointments highlight their exceptional expertise, unwavering dedication, and contributions to the party and nation.

In a statement issued by the Upper West Regional Communications Officer of the NDC, Issah Kantagyere, and authorized by the region’s Chairman, Abdul Nasir Saani (also known as Bunas), the leadership expressed pride and confidence in the appointees.

Tribute to Joyce Bawah Mogtari

The statement praised Joyce Bawah Mogtari for her unwavering loyalty and long-standing service to the NDC and President John Dramani Mahama:

“Hon. Joyce Bawah Mogtari, a lawyer par excellence, an exceptional communicator, and a trusted confidante of President John Dramani Mahama, has proven her worth through years of service both in opposition and in government. Her new role as Presidential Adviser and Special Aide is a testament to her unmatched dedication, competence, and experience.”

The statement emphasized the Upper West Region’s pride in her achievements:

“We have never doubted your commitment to the party’s ideals and your ability to deliver on every assignment. Your appointment is not just meritorious but also a reflection of your tireless efforts in advancing the NDC’s vision. We are confident that you will bring your extensive experience to bear in this crucial role.”

Acknowledging Shamima Muslim’s Contributions

Similarly, the leadership lauded Shamima Muslim for her years of dedication and professionalism:

“Hon. Shamima Muslim, an accomplished journalist and steadfast supporter of the NDC since her university days, has been an outstanding communicator and a passionate advocate for the party’s goals. Her unique voice and eloquence have consistently elevated the NDC’s messaging, making her appointment as Deputy Presidential Spokesperson well-deserved.”

The statement further highlighted her potential to excel in her new position:

“This remarkable appointment reflects her vast experience, dedication, and unparalleled expertise in the field of communication. We are confident that she will shine in this role and contribute significantly to the success of the presidency.”

Joyce Bawah Mogtari and Shamima Muslim are among ten individuals appointed to various roles at the presidency. The Upper West NDC leadership commended their achievements as a source of inspiration to women and young professionals within the party and beyond.
