The Wa East Member of Parliament, Dr Godfred Seidu Jasaw, has commissioned and handed over two mechanised boreholes to Jeyiriand and Torsa. The initiative is meant to bring clean water to the communities.
The projects were achieved through the MP’s lobby to secure funding from Qatar Charity.
The boreholes, officially handed over to the communities, will provide a reliable source of clean water, alleviating the long-standing struggles of the residents. This development is expected to improve the health, sanitation, and overall well-being of the people, especially women and children, who often bear the brunt of water scarcity.
The collaboration with Qatar Charity demonstrates the power of partnerships in driving development and making a positive impact on people’s lives.
