The Board Chairman of the Nandom Midwifery Training School, Dr. Cuthbert Baba Kuupiel, together with members of the Board, has engaged staff and students of the institution during a working visit aimed at assessing academic and infrastructural needs of the school.
The visit brought together both teaching and non-teaching staff in an interactive meeting where concerns relating to teaching and learning, welfare, and institutional development were discussed.
The Board also held a separate engagement with students, offering them the opportunity to share their experiences and challenges within the school environment.

As part of the working tour, Dr. Kuupiel and his team visited key facilities on campus, including the ICT laboratory, the skills laboratory, and the demonstration room, to assess practical training spaces critical to midwifery education.
The delegation also inspected the school’s only hostel facility, where students reside, as part of efforts to better understand accommodation conditions and related welfare concerns.
The visit formed part of the Board’s oversight responsibility to stay abreast of operational challenges facing the institution and to inform future decisions aimed at improving training delivery and learning outcomes.

Management and stakeholders are expected to use observations from the tour to guide ongoing discussions on improving infrastructure and student welfare at the school.
The Board has not yet issued formal commitments, but the engagement is expected to feed into broader institutional planning processes aimed at strengthening midwifery training in the municipality.
