The Anwelle Foundation has congratulated newly inducted chiefs into the Upper West Regional House of Chiefs, placing particular emphasis on the elevation of Naa Dinaa Donglabong Ganaa III, Paramount Chief of the Jirapa Traditional Area.

In an official statement released on Tuesday, May 26th, 2026, the Foundation praised the three traditional rulers who recently took their oaths of office before Wa High Court Judge Justice Osei Wusu Antwi. The statement expressed warm congratulations to Naa Dinaa Donglabong Ganaa III and to Kuoro Adikibe Dagbasi Basuglo Sampuo III of Funsi and Kuoro Banukwei Bajor Limann V of Gwollu for their successful induction. It also celebrated Kuoro Issaka Zengè Kazie Tanjie II, Paramount Chief of Lambussie, on his swearing-in as President of the Upper West Regional House of Chiefs.

“These remarkable milestones reflect the confidence reposed in their leadership, wisdom, dedication to traditional governance, and commitment to peace and development,” the Foundation said, noting the responsibilities the new officeholders have assumed.

The Anwelle Foundation’s message singled out the Chief of the Jirapa Traditional Area, Naa Dinaa Donglabong Ganaa III, for particular attention, describing his induction as a significant development for the Jirapa community and the wider Upper West Region. The Foundation lauded his proven commitment to community welfare and cultural preservation and said it looks forward to partnering with visionary traditional leadership that prioritizes people’s progress.

The Foundation’s statement also recognized Iddrisu Munjamilu, Esq., Counsel to the Upper West Regional House of Chiefs, for his role in the proceedings.

Anwelle Foundation emphasized the practical importance of the appointments, saying the newly constituted House of Chiefs will play a central role in promoting justice, unity, cultural preservation, peace, and sustainable development across the region. “We are confident that their leadership and service will greatly contribute to the promotion of justice, unity, cultural preservation, peace, and sustainable development across the region,” the Foundation wrote.

The Foundation closed its congratulatory message by wishing the chiefs wisdom, strength, good health, and divine guidance as they undertake their duties. It reaffirmed its support for traditional leaders who align with the Foundation’s mission of community empowerment and development.
