Hon. Sebastian Daguah Esq., an aspiring NDC Constituency Chairman for Nadowli/Kaleo, has donated ten plastic chairs to each of the 114 polling-station branches and distributing five bags of fertilizer to every branch.
Lawyer Daguah said the gestures followed visits to branches across the constituency, where he found branch executives frequently struggling to hold meetings because of a shortage of seating. “Many branch meetings are held in the open or in cramped spaces because there are not enough chairs,” he said. “This donation is meant to make it easier for party executives to meet and organise.”
In total, 1,160 chairs and 600 bags of fertilizer have been delivered to party branches across Nadowli/Kaleo. The fertilizer targets farming branch executives, whom Daguah described as central to the constituency’s social and economic life.
As a former Assembly Member for Nanvili, Lawyer Daguah said “This goes beyond party politics,” he said. “These chairs will be used for community meetings, funerals, weddings and other local events. Leadership isn’t about personally having all the resources to solve people’s problems; it’s about using your influence to get things done for the community.”
Branch executives welcomed the donations, describing them as timely and unprecedented. “Many only come with promises when they want office,” said one branch officer. “It is rare to see tangible support like this during campaign season. These donations will make a real difference.”
The distribution drive was completed across the constituency with enthusiastic reception at each polling station, reinforcing Daguah’s message of practical, grassroots-focused leadership as he continues his campaign within the NDC.
