DBI: BECE Candidates Express Confidence To Excel after Day-One

Some candidates in the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examination, BECE, have expressed confidence to excel. According to them, the first day of examination has boosted their morale because their three years of preparation have paid off.

Speaking to UpperWestNews, a student said ” The questions were within our study areas. I could answer a lot of the questions in the examination hall”

A female student indicated that “we will not be deceived by the outcome of day one, we will continue to study harder for success in the remaining papers”

Checks by our reporter, ANGDOWMINENYE ABDUL-WARIS, revealed that a total of 452 candidates have been registered for this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in the Daffiama Bussie Isaa District of the Upper West region.
The number includes 204 males and 248 females across two centres: Issa Technical Institute and Daffiama Senior High School.


At the Issa Technical Institute, 86 males and 109 females drawn from 11 public schools are expected to sit for the Examination.
The Daffiama Senior High Center is hosting 257 students made up of 118 males and 139 females from 16 public schools.
In total, 27 public Basic schools in the Daffiama Bussie Isaa District are participating in this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
