EASTER GALA 2026 TOURNAMENT SET FOR ACTION-PACKED WEEK IN NANDOM

The 2026 Easter Gala football tournament is set to take center stage from Monday, 30th March to Monday, 6th April, promising eight days of competitive grassroots football action involving six participating clubs.

The tournament, sponsored by the Sangu Delle Foundation, will feature Ziebaapuo FC, Maalu FC, Zebra FC, Galaticos FC, Abrefo FC, and Goziir FC.

GROUP STAGE FIXTURES:

The group stage opens on Monday, 30th March with Ziebaapuo FC facing Maalu FC. The competition continues in a tightly packed schedule designed to test squad depth, endurance, and tactical discipline.

Monday, 30th March: Ziebaapuo FC vs Maalu FC

Tuesday, 31st March: Zebra FC vs Galaticos FC

Wednesday, 1st April: Abrefo FC vs Maalu FC

Thursday, 2nd April: Goziir FC vs Galaticos FC

Friday morning, 3rd April: Ziebaapuo FC vs Abrefo FC

Friday evening, 3rd April: Zebra FC vs Goziir FC

The group phase is expected to be highly competitive, with every match carrying significant weight in determining semifinal qualification.

KNOCKOUT STAGE:

The tournament moves into its decisive phase on Saturday, 4th April with cross-group semifinal clashes:

Saturday morning, 4th April: Group A Winner vs Group B Runner-up

Saturday evening, 4th April: Group B Winner vs Group A Runner-up

FINAL PLACEMENT MATCHES:

Sunday, 5th April: Third-place playoff

Monday, 6th April: Grand Final

TOURNAMENT OUTLOOK:

Organizers describe the Easter Gala as more than just a football competition, positioning it as a platform for youth engagement, talent identification, and community unity.
