Hon. Alexis Anzagira, Assembly Member for Takpo-Tuori Electoral Area, led a one-day donation drive to Tendamba JHS on Tuesday, July 7, 2026.
The package delivered to Tendamba JHS included a modern computer, a duplex printer, three whiteboards, three reams of A4 paper and four boxes of markers.
He urged school officials to use the materials strictly for teaching and learning. Hon Anzagra used the opportunity to thank local development advocate Chairman Kwame Suleman for underwriting the package and called on residents to unite behind the area’s development agenda to attract more support.
Anzagira said good stewardship will encourage other benefactors to invest in schools and stressed that community cooperation is essential for lasting progress. He described the donation as part of his commitment to leave an indelible mark on the constituency before the end of his tenure.

Yiri News observed the handover, which drew school staff, PTA leaders and local residents. The donation responded to a formal request from the school’s management and is expected to improve day-to-day teaching and record-keeping.
Benjamin Antumwini, headmaster of Tendamba JHS, thanked Hon. Anzagira, Chairman Suleman and the community for responding to the appeal, and pledged that the materials would be used responsibly to benefit learners.
Alaba Kunyikpeba, PTA chairman, echoed that gratitude and urged school leaders to ensure the supplies are well managed so the community’s investment yields strong results for pupils.
