A member of the Upper West Regional Communications Team of the ruling New Patriotic Party, NPP, Adama Amadu Gbankor has lauded the choice of Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh as a possible running mate to the party’s presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
According to him, the Manhyia South lawmaker has demonstrated enough leadership qualities in his political journey and the responsibilities entrusted to him.
Adama Amadu Gbankor cited Napo’s exploits at the Ministry of Education where he championed the implementation of the Free Senior High School to the admiration of Ghanaians.
He also touted the bold steps taken by Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh to tackle the power challenges that confronted Ghana recently.

On his contributions to the development of the party, Adama Amadu Gbankor intimated that Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh is a cheerful giver who devotes time and other resources to party supporters.
Adama Amadu Gbankor made the remarks during the newspaper review segment of the morning show on Sungmaale FM.
Reports have emerged that Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has settled on Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh as his running mate for the 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections.
