The Anwelle Foundation has fully sponsored checking and printing of the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) results for all 1,194 Junior High School candidates in the Jirapa Municipality.
The Foundation purchased result-checking vouchers for every candidate and will pay for printed copies, ensuring no student is denied access to their results due to lack of funds. A delegation from the Foundation, led by Director of Communications Mr. Nuah Maxwell and Director of Programs and Projects Mr. Emmanuel Kog Deribaa officially handed the vouchers to Municipal Director of Education Mr. Huudu Abdul Kaadir at the Municipal Education Directorate.
Also present were Municipal Education Planner Mr. Nuyovore Moses, Statistics Officer Mr. Kansoh Gerald, Municipal Education Accountant Mr. Bobdaar Rufinus, and Anwelle’s Education Resource Person Mr. Amatus Banye.
Receiving the donation, Mr. Kaadir thanked the Foundation, describing the Directorate as “hunters without tools” when resources are scarce. He said the intervention will ease the burden on parents and guardians and stressed the importance of partnerships to improve teaching, learning and access to education in the municipality. He called for a long-term collaboration with Anwelle to tackle persistent educational challenges.
Representatives from the Anwelle Foundation reaffirmed their commitment to education, saying it remains a core pillar of the Foundation’s work and promising continued collaboration with stakeholders to promote quality education across the municipality.
The donation follows the Foundation’s recent partnership with Wulsong to run fully funded Pre-SHS classes for JHS leavers in Jirapa, an initiative designed to better prepare students academically and mentally for secondary school and to provide career guidance.
The Anwelle Foundation said its sustained investments aim to empower youth through equal access to educational opportunities and ensure that financial barriers do not block students from progressing.
