The Assembly Member for Bussie East Electoral Area in Ghana’s Upper West Region, Hon. Evans Gandiibu Naah, has donated food items to persons living with disabilities and widows in his constituency.
The gesture, delivered on the eve of Easter Sunday, included bowls of rice, bottles of cooking oil, and tins of tomatoes.

Hon. Naah, who also serves as the Presiding Member of the Dafiama-Bussie-Issa District Assembly, described it as his “widow’s mite” to support their celebrations.
Speaking at a brief handover ceremony, he reaffirmed his commitment to community welfare. “The well-being of every resident is my priority, but the vulnerable must be supported at all times,” he said. He extended an open invitation to individuals and organizations to partner in developing Bussie East.

Beneficiaries expressed profound gratitude, offering prayers for the assembly member’s continued blessings and success.
Hon Evans Gandiibu Naah, said the plight of any community member must be seen as a collective plight. He said although not everyone would be able to benefit from the donation, many people would benefit subsequently where there’s any support of such nature.
