The National Democratic Congress (NDC) reorganization in the Nadowli/Kaleo constituency has taken a dramatic turn with the entry of Sebastian Bantae Daguah Esq, an accomplished administrator and lawyer, into the race for constituency chairman.
A lifelong NDC loyalist, Mr. Daguah Esq has heeded persistent calls from party grassroots members to lead the branch. Party activists hail the move as a game-changer, poised to revitalize youth engagement and affirm Daguah’s proven competence and dedication.
Daguah’s deep roots in the party are evident from his frontline roles: serving as a polling agent in presidential and parliamentary elections, adopting stations in the Nanvilli enclave and contributing to victories alongside fellow faithfuls.
At the regional level, he sits on the Upper West NDC legal team. Ahead of the 2024 elections, Daguah and his colleagues resolved critical disputes during voter registration and transfers, safeguarding the party’s interests.
His public service credentials further bolster his candidacy. As a former assembly member for the Nanvilli Electoral Area, Daguah brings hands-on governance experience, coupled with the temperament, tenacity, and goodwill needed to steer the constituency forward.
The race intensifies as incumbent chairman Kojo Sombawiera Samba (known as Sankara) eyes the regional chair position, while constituency secretary Timothy Diedeme has also emerged as a contender.
He currently serves as Senior Assistant Registrar (Legal Affairs) at Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University (then Wa Polytechnic), where he provides strategic legal advisory services, manages institutional risk, and supports high-level governance coupled with his practice as a private legal practitioner.
