The Nandom Municipal Assembly in the Upper West Region has announced a National Competitive Tender (NCT) Invitation for Tender (IFT) for two development projects aimed at improving education and security infrastructure within the municipality.
The tender notice, published in the April 28, 2026 edition of the Ghanaian Times, stated that the projects will be financed through the Assembly’s share of the 2026 District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF).
Under the procurement package, the Assembly is seeking qualified contractors for the supply of 1,000 school desks to schools across the municipality, as well as the completion of the Kokoligu Police Station project.
The Assembly explained that interested and eligible tenderers may obtain further information and inspect tender documents at the Nandom Municipal Assembly between 9:00am and 5:00pm each working day.
Tender documents, written in English, can be purchased upon payment of a non-refundable fee of GH¢700.00 at the Accounts Office of the Assembly.
According to the notice, prospective bidders are required to provide valid statutory and regulatory documents, including a Ghana Revenue Authority Tax Clearance Certificate, SSNIT Clearance Certificate, Registrar General’s Business Registration Certificate, Public Procurement Authority (PPA) Registration Certificate, VAT Registration Certificate, and a valid Labour Certificate. Tenderers must also provide the required tender security as specified in the tender documents.
The Assembly indicated that the procurement process will be conducted through National Competitive Tendering procedures in accordance with the Public Procurement Act, 2003 (Act 663), as amended.
Completed sealed tender documents are expected to be deposited in the tender box at the Municipal Assembly Conference Hall in Nandom not later than 10:00am on May 15, 2026.
Tender opening will take place immediately after the deadline at the Conference Hall in the presence of tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend. Late submissions will not be accepted.
